District Governor Bio:

Mike Banks graduated from C. E. Donart High School in 1971 and from OSU in 1975 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration majoring in accounting. Upon graduation he worked for a CPA firm in Oklahoma City for 9 years. He spent the next 4 years in private industry as a controller. He earned a Certified Public Accounting license in 1978. In 1989, he returned to Stillwater and reentered public accounting. He earned a Certified Financial Planning license in 1992. Currently, he is owner of Banks & Banks, CPA, PC and managing member of Banks Properties, LLC. He is a member of the Stillwater Noon Lions Club, and has served as President, Vice-President, Director, Tail Twister and Membership Chairman. He served Oklahoma Lions District 3-H as Membership Chairman, Zone Chairman and Vice District Governor. He earned 2 International President?s Certificate of Appreciation. He is an alumnus of Lions Leadership Institute 2004 and of Leadership Stillwater Class XIV. He is a member of First United Methodist Church. He is married to Anne Matoy. He has 3 adult children, 4 adult step-children and 4 grandchildren.
